Reintroducing Ourselves as Acre
Over nearly 60 years, we at General Office Products have been a part of some truly incredible things. We’ve worked with thousands of organizations across the Twin Cities and the Upper Midwest and helped them supply and transform their workplaces. We’ve built a wide network of relationships that are invaluable to us. Through our community work, we’ve become an integral part of the fabric of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area. We’re very proud of what we’ve built and what we’ve done together.
That said, times have changed, and we’re a different company than we used to be. To reflect who we are now, and where we’re going in the future, we’ve adopted a new company name! From today forward, General Office Products is now called Acre!
Over the last several years, we’ve evolved into a full-service office design partner – as well as a furnishings, procurement and related services company. We see office spaces as being full of limitless possibilities (much like an acre of undeveloped land), and we love transforming them into destinations that build culture and help organizations attract and retain talent. We’ve invested heavily in this area of our company, and already it’s paying off; we’re doing a lot of work that we’re really proud of and passionate about.

Also, to help keep our growth momentum going, we’re moving to new office space before the end of the year! Our new headquarters will be just a couple miles from where we are now, in the West End area of St. Louis Park. We’re especially happy that our new office will feature a complete showroom – a place where we can hone our ideas, and where you can see and experience all that we’re working on. We’re looking forward to showing you around!
We’re really excited about our new identity, and the direction we’re headed in the months and years ahead. But, of course, we wouldn’t be who we are today without any of our customers, partners and friends. Thank you for all your confidence, trust and support over the years. We can’t wait to write the next chapter of our history, as Acre, with you all.
